"Number one thing about self-defence is awareness. There is this instinct in women, which most of men don't have, the sixth sense. That is number one thing in self defence," Vidyut said on the sidelines of Health and Nutrition magazine cover launch in Mumbai on Thursday.

The "Commando 2: The Black Money Trail" actor added: "I teach a lot of women self defence. I have personally met a lot of rape victims. They always ask me, what is the number one self-defence thing? I say it is awareness.

"If you go out somewhere and you have a feeling that something is not right. The man sitting beside you or right in front of you is not right; make sure you acknowledge it, as that is the sixth sense. If you have a feeling that I don't need to go in this lane, don't do it. That feeling is sixth sense or awareness, the number one self defence."

Talking about his film career, he said: "I enjoy being action hero of the country. There are almost all actors who are fit but what I can do, very few actors will be able to pull off. So I don't want to be compared with anybody but if right opportunity comes my way then I am open to do a light hearted film in the near future."
