New Delhi: Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha is gung-ho about performing at pop star Justin Bieber's maiden concert in India but, apparently, singer Armaan Malik is not happy with this development. On Monday, the 21-year-old vocalist took to Twitter and stated that 'stage & mic' should be left to singers and not actors.
"Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that's our playground not yours," he tweeted. Here, he was quoting Kailash Kher's recently remarks which criticised Sonakshi's upcoming performance.
"A secure artist wud always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed," the 'Noor' star replied. However, Armaan immediately clarified that he is voicing his opinion because singers are shunned in India and given lesser importance than actors.
Sonakshi further accused Armaan and his brother Amaal Mallik of offering her a song. But, Amaal refuted her claim.

@sonakshisinha @ArmaanMalik22 I may have said let's collaborate, but @ArmaanMalik22 and I haven't attended any such event where we came up together & said this to you

It all started when Kailash said getting Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha on board to perform at Justin Bieber's maiden concert in India over any other acclaimed Indian singer is not a good sign, and sends a wrong message internationally.
