For the uninitiated, reportedly Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi, vice president of West Bengal Minority United Council issued a fatwa against the singer and announced Rs 10 lakh award for anyone who would shave Sonu's hair.
However, the singer organised a press conference and clarified his stand. He even shaved off his head as he had got popular celebrity hairstylist Hakim Aalim along with him.
In the press conference, Sonu put across his point and said, “I did not target any specific religion'. He further added, “I spoke against the use of loudspeakers and everyone has a right to his opinion”. He came with celebrity hairstylist Hakim Aalim in order to get his head shaved and went bald keeping his word.
The singer clarified saying, “My words have been taken out of context”.
