New Delhi: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has been slammed online for allegedly mocking noted filmmaker Raghavendra Rao. It all started when the 29-year-old diva appeared on a stand-up comedy act and took a dig at the 'Padaharella Vayasu' director.
"The director who launched me is known to have the Midas' touch in terms of launching actresses. He had launched Sridevi and Jayasudha... It was his 105th movie with me. He's known to show the sensuality of the heroine by showing the midriff and throwing fruits and flowers at it. I was prepared for it... In fact, I saw lots of videos... But, when my turn came, maybe because my midriff wasn't quite ready, they threw a coconut on me!" she was quoted as saying.
The 'Naam Shabana' star added, "I don't know what is so sensuous about a coconut hitting my midriff!"
Apparently, some cinema lovers are miffed with her remarks and, as a result, she is drawing flak online. She is also being trolled for the same. Check out social media reactions:
Dear @taapsee if some one can make sridevis and jayapradas but not you, you can understand where mistake is

Mam @taapsee , Why couldn't you say "No Means No" to KRR's 105 th film

Making fun on Telugu films is not good. Rajamouli is student of raghavendra Rao and created history with Baahubali.. just learn

However, there are a few who even agree with what Taapsee has said.
