New Delhi: Veteran Hindi film actor Shashi Kapoor left this world for a heavenly abode on December 4 evening. The legendary star was 79. He was battling a prolonged illness and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.

He had a rich filmography to his credit and worked in as many as 148 movies in his illustrious career. While checking out his rare images across the internet, we found the one which was taken on Christmas last year at the annual Kapoor luncheon.

The thespian can be seen sitting in the middle of the entire Kapoor Khandaan. Karisma Kapoor had posted the picture on Instagram with a caption, “The family that eats together stays together #familygoals#familylove#christmaslunch #merrychristmaseveryone.”

Shashi Kapoor's last rites were performed on Tuesday afternoon at Santacruz crematorium, Mumbai.
