New Delhi: Bollywood actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs Funnybones is an avid social media user who is known for her tongue-and-cheek humour. She doesn't believe in mincing words and is quite a pro in dealing with trolls online.

Tina, as she is fondly called within the industry circles, finally experimented with her hairstyle after 20 long years. Yes! She went for a short hairdo and shared her latest look on social media. Twinkle captioned the picture: “Chopped it all off though I wish I could say it was without turning a hair #ShortIsTheNewLong #After20Years”

She looks suave and classy, much the boss lady that she totally is.

On the professional front, Mrs Funnybones is producing Padman, a film starring hubby Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. This is going to be her maiden production venture being helmed by R Balki.

It is based on the real-life incident of Arunachalam Muruganatham—the man whose initiative to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.

Interestingly, Twinkle had mentioned about the story of 'Padman' aka Arunachalam in the final short story titled ‘The Sanitary Man from A Scared Land’ in her second novel ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’.

'Padman' is hitting the screens on April 13, 2018.
