New Delhi: Legendary actor Dilip Kumar braved a kidney ailment and was discharged from Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai this evening. The thespian's health was not in good shape for past few days and was admitted to the ICU.
Earlier in the day, his official Twitter handle confirmed the news of his discharge. Wife Saira Banu too expressed her happiness and gratitude.

ANI tweeted the picture of the veteran coming out from the hospital on a wheelchair while Saira Banu by his side. The renowned megastar was admitted to the hospital on August 2 due to dehydration and urinary tract infection. High potassium and creatinine levels had raised concerns that he may have to be put on dialysis. Doctors decided against it after he started responding well to treatment.
