Mumbai: After air fares and hotels, tourists can now compare holiday packages on a single platform with travel online marketplace GoFro partnering with 12 major industry players to offer the facility.
The move will create a platform for large tour operators to gain access to more travellers and mid-sized players to move beyond a particular regional player and reach out to new markets, GoFro said in a release here today.
GoFro is expecting the number of bookings to grow by 10 times in the next one year and also sees an increase in the number of suppliers selling packages on the platform, it said.
The company has partnered with more than 12 travel companies like Thomas Cook, Yatra, MakeMyTrip, Paras Holidays, Contiki, Byond Travel, Flamingo Transworld and Guidelines Travels, among others, where users can compare holiday packages across all travel partners.
"It is another big step by GoFro to become India's first and largest travel marketplace. Now the power lies in the hands of the consumer, they can simply visit GoFro and compare packages offered by all the travel agents," GoFro Founder Amitabh Misra said.
The company started its journey in June 2016 and has since then partnered with more than 200 tour operators and travel agents to offer packages for more than 70 destinations.
