Airtel telecom operator has launched its 5G service a few days later after the official launch of 5G in India by PM Narendra Modi on October 1. It was first launched in 8 big cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi.
Now it is available in DLF Cyber Hub, DLF Phase 2, MG Road, Rajiv Chowk, Iffco Chowk, Nirvana Country, Civil, Huda City Centre, and Gurugram National Highway.
Airtel announced that its 5G Plus network is available at Tehsil Camp, Barsat Road, IOCL, Devi Mandir, Bhawna Chowk, and a few other locations.
In the city, it is available at GS Road, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital 9(GMCH), Dispur College, Ganeshguri, Christian Basti, Sree Nagar, Zoo Road, Lachit Nagar, Ulubari, Bhangagarh, Beltola, and some other locations.
Airtel's 5G Plus network is also available at various airports across the country including the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, Lohegaon Airport in Pune, and Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
