New Delhi: Apple and Samsung appear to be the most popular smartphone brands, as these two firms sold the most devices in the first quarter of 2022. According to IDC analyst Francisco Jeronimo, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max reportedly took the top two spots in the list of phones sold most frequently in the first three months of 2022.
The Galaxy A12, a low-cost smartphone from Samsung, is ranked third on the list. It is available in India for a starting price of Rs 12,999.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is the iPhone 13 series' most expensive model. It was the second most popular phone in the first quarter of 2022. On Amazon, it has a starting price of Rs 1,29,900.
Apple iPhone 13, which costs Rs 72,990, was the most popular phone in Q1 2022, according to IDC. According to the research, in 2022, iPhone 13 will be valued approximately $42 billion.
Surprisingly, popular phones like OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Realme are absent from the list. The top-five best-selling cellphones are listed in the list that Jeronimo released on Twitter, with the iPhone 13 topping the list. The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes in second. In India, the Max model costs more than Rs 1 lakh, indicating that customers are willing to pay a premium for the finest of everything.
