New Delhi: Apple is said to be planning the launch of the iPhone 14 series in September, and a fresh report claims that the future models will include satellite communication capability.
According to rumours, the 2022 iPhone series would include various improvements, such as a new design over the Pro model, a better camera, and more.
To accommodate the additional internals, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to have a bigger profile and a better camera module.
Apple is still working on adding satellite connectivity features to the iPhone, and the additional functionality may be ready for the iPhone 14 series this year. Back in 2021, it was speculated that the Apple iPhone 13 will include a low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite communication mode, allowing users to send messages and make phone calls even when no signals were available.
Both iPhone Pro variants in the iPhone 14 series will have a triple rear camera arrangement with a 48MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, and telephoto lens. The forthcoming iPhone 14 series will be able to play 8K video.
The Apple iPhone 14 will be $799(Rs 61,048), similar to the iPhone 13, while the iPhone 14 Max will be roughly $899(Rs 68,688), replacing the cheaper iPhone 13 Mini, which debuted at a price of $699. Likewise, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1,199(Rs 91,610).
