New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is kicking off a special Bharat Darshan Tourist train to let tourists explore top religious places of Northern India.
IRCTC Public Relations Officer (PRO) Anand Kumar Jha said that with the Bharat Darshan train, IRCTC aims to give an enhanced experience to explore beautiful historical and devotional places of North India.
Passengers aged above 18 and who have taken both COVID-19 doses can book the package directly from the IRCTC website. The package is named “VAISHNODEVI WITH UTTAR DARSHAN YATRA."
The Bharat Darshan train will run from the Rewa station of Madhya Pradesh to cover locations such as Agra, Mathura, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar and Vaishno Devi Shrine.
IRCTC will operate the Bharat Darshan Tourist Train starting from October 8 from Rewa Station. Passengers will be able to onboard the special train from Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Itarsi, Hoshangabad, Habibganj, Vidisha, Ganj Basoda, Bina and Jhansi stations as well.
IRCTC Bharat Darshan Tourist Train is an eight nights and nine days tour. Jha said that the package has been designed keeping in mind the interest of every kind of traveller, who loves fun with devotion and visit old traditional cities of India.
IRCTC is offering the latest Bharat Darshan Tourist package starting from Rs 8,505 per person for sleeper class. For the 3AC package, passengers will have to pay Rs 10,395 per person.
All the passengers will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will get accommodations in budget hotels or dharmshalas. Moreover, passengers will get accidental insurance of up to Rs 4 lakhs.
