This is the same bungalow that was in the centre of a controversy in 2020 over BMC demolition drive, following which Kangana Ranaut had filed a petition in the court.
Actor cum newly-elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reportedly sold her bungalow in Mumbai's Pali Hill, for Rs 32 crore, a report by Zapkey has mentioned.
The property registration documents reviewed by Zapkey found that the sale of the property has yield a total return of 55 percent, translating into a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 6.4 percent
The bungalow, was bought in September 2017 for Rs 20.7 crore and has also been used as the office for Kangana's production house, Manikarnika Films.
Zapkey has mentioned that Ranaut took a loan of Rs 27 crore loan from ICICI Bank against the property in December 2022.
With a total area of 3075 square feet, the bungalow includes a 565 sq ft parking space.
A part of the same bungalow, was demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on September 9, 2020.
Ranaut had later filed a petition claiming that the BMC had acted out of malice following her tweets against the Mumbai police that had irked the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government.
