With the number of hacking or phishing attacks rising sharply, it is important to make sure that you are following all the right practices to secure your device. Here are a few ways using which you can protect your smartphone:
You should always use an antivirus on your smartphone to keep it secure from viruses, malware and phishing attacks.
You should always use Googe Play Store or App Store for downloading apps. You can also use other trusted platforms for installing apps on your phone.
From time to time, you should clean your device to make sure that unwanted files don’t make space. The step will help in removing infected files from the smartphone.
You should also use strong passwords for your phone lock screen and other apps, as it will make it difficult for hackers to enter into your device.
You should not connect to unsecured WiFi networks that are open to public. Hackers can get into your smartphone on the premise of offering free internet.
