New Delhi: Royal Enfield has again increased the prices of its adventure touring motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Himalayan. In the latest price hike, which came just two months earlier in July 2021, the Chennai-based automaker has increased the prices of the popular two-wheeler by at least Rs 5000.
Currently, Royal Enfield sells Himalayan in six colour variants. With the latest price hike, the most affordable colour variants of the two-wheeler, the Granite Grey and Mirage Silver models, will be retailing at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,10,784, Rs 5000 more than old prices.
The ex-showroom price of the most expensive Pine Green variant has been increased to Rs 2,18,273 up from Rs 2,13,273. Meanwhile, the Granite Black model and Rock Red model will cost Rs 2,18,273 and Rs 2,14,529, respectively.
Royal Enfield had launched the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan early this year in February. At that time, the bike was launched at an ex-showroom (Chennai) price of Rs 2,01,314.
The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan is packed with several new features including tripper navigation using which users can access turn by turn directions, which was first available in the Meter 350 among RE bikes. The bike also gets a new seat, windscreen and rear carrier.
The adventure touring motorcycle is powered by the 411cc single-cylinder BS6 engine capable of generating a peak power of 24.3 bhp at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 32Nm at 4000 to 4500 rpm.
