In a move to control inflation, RBI increased the repo rate recently by 25 basis points. Banks like Bank of Baroda, PNB, and SBI raised their loan interest rates as a result. Here is the latest comparison of home loan interest rates of leading banks.
Home loans up to Rs 30 lakh are available under Punjab National Bank's Max Saver programme at 8.80 percent interest if the CIBIL score is 800. With a CIBIL score of 700–749 and 9.35 percent for a score of 600–699, the interest rate is 9 percent.
The MCLR and the Repo Rate Linked Lending Rate have each been increased by 0.10 percent and 0.25 percent, respectively, by the State Bank of India (SBI). SBI, on the other hand, has a programme that offers loans with lower interest rates. If your CIBIL score is 800, 8.95 if it's 700-749, and 9.65 if it's 550-649, you can get a loan at an interest rate of 8.85 percent.
The interest rates on loans at HDFC Bank increased a day before the RBI upped the repo rate. The interest rate for a loan up to Rs 30 lakh will be in the 9 percent–9.50 percent range. Women pay an interest rate that ranges from 8.95 to 9.45 percent. For sums larger than 30 lakhs and up to 75 lakhs, the interest rate goes from 9.25 percent to 9.75 percent, and it ranges from 9.20 percent to 9.70 percent for women.
One of the leading public sector banks, Bank of Baroda hiked its key lending rate earlier this month. Now, the rate ranges from 8.9 percent to 10.5 percent for salaried personnel. For non-salaried employees, the rate ranges from 8.95 percent to 10.6 percent.
