Back in 2011, the singer was in news after reports of him being slapped by a girl at a pub surfaced. However, Aditya Narayan denied these claims and maintained that the girl is doing it for publicity.
Bollywood singer was caught-on-cam misbehaving with IndiGo ground staff back in 2017. For the unversed, the vocalist had an extremely unpleasant argument at Raipur airport after he was asked to cough up Rs 13,000 for excess baggage. The airline said that Aditya also used 'unparliamentary' language while arguing with a woman staff member.
However, Narayan was later issued a boarding pass after he apologised to the ground staff.
Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan issued an apology for his 'Alibaug comment' made on the show. He took to his Instagram story and wrote: “With a humble heart and folded hands I want to apologise to the people of Alibaug and everyone who has been hurt by my sentence on a recent episode of Indian Idol that I’m currently hosting. The intention was never to hurt anyone. I have immense love and respect for Alibaug. My own sentiments are connected with the place, it’s people and this soil.”
This apology comes after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Ameya Khopkar in a Facebook live session, accused the makers of hurting the sentiments of Alibaug residents.
Singer and popular reality TV host Aditya Narayan was arrested for rash driving back in 2018 by the Versova Police after he hit an autorickshaw with his luxury car in Mumbai. The singer later expressed regret over the accident involving his car which rammed into an autorickshaw and left two people injured. "It was an unfortunate accident... and I feel sorry for what has happened," Aditya told IANS.
Aditya said he was charged under Section 337 of Motor Vehicles Act -- "no other offenses" -- and fined around Rs 10,000, and granted bail immediately, dismissing all speculation in the matter.
