Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani and his bodyguard Ravi Singh were snapped at the court premises during the bail hearing of Aryan Khan on Thursday.
This is not the first time that Pooja and the actor's bodyguard are attending the court hearing. They were spotted at Mumbai Sessions court yesterday too as the court adjourned the hearing of the bail petition to the next day. Today, the NDPS court reserved its order on Aryan's bail for October 20. With this, Aryan along with other accused, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha will stay in Arthur Road jail till next Wednesday.
Pooja was spotted at the NCB office earlier when Aryan was in their custody. As a Shah Rukh's manager, Pooja has been present at every court hearing and has stood as a pillar to the family. Ever since Aryan Khan's arrest, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have not been spotted in public or at court hearings.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in its reply, filed in the special court said that the agency's investigation has revealed Aryan Khan's role in illicit procurement and distribution of contraband
The agency further said that Aryan Khan used to procure drugs from Arbaaz Merchant who was found in possession of six grams of charas during the raid. A total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in the case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2.
Aryan Khan was arrested for consumption of drugs under NDPS Act 1985. This act attracts a maximum punishment of one year or with a fine which may extend to Rs 20,000.
