Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Ayesha Mukherjee, a Melbourne-based boxer, have parted ways after eight years of marriage. Ayesha was the first to confirm this on Instagram and had posted, "...When my second marriage broke down it was really scary." But she went on to admit, "I realised my fear and the meaning I gave to the word divorce was my own doing… Divorce means choosing myself and not settling and sacrificing my own life for the sake of a marriage.”

Aamir Khan shared his life with Kiran Rao and Reena Datta

Aamir Khan and Reena Datta got married in 1986 but in 2002, they filed a petition for mutual divorce and decided to separate because of "temperamental differences".
