The Bhaijaan of Bollywood Salman Khan turned a year older on Monday i.e on December 27, 2021 and so his fans can’t keep their calm. On the auspicious occasion of his birthday, let’s take a look at some of the lesser known facts about the superstar.

Did you know your superstar’s favourite name? Well, it’s not Salman Khan but Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan is his original name. 

Salman started his career as a model and turned into an actor.

Well, one of the most shocking facts is that people he made a debut with Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ but the fact is he made his debut in 1988 with a supporting role in Biwi Ho To Aisi. 

Salman was never interested in becoming an actor, as he wanted to be script-writer like his father Salim Khan. He has scripted three films - ‘Baaghi: A Rebel For Love’, ‘Veer’ and ‘Chandramukhi’, but unfortunately none of the films could do justice at the Box Office. 

Reportedly, the 'Dabangg' actor who tries to stay fit all the time, has been diagnosed with the neuropathic disorder, Trigeminal Neuralgia, in 2007.

Interestingly, Salman was the first choice for the role that Shahrukh Khan played in ‘Baazigar’.

Also, Salman Khan is the only actor who has six films in the 100 Crore Club to his credit. Isn’t this amazing?
