Actor turned philanthropist and social activist Sonu Sood, who has emerged as a real-life hero amid deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, is in news again but this time for a special reason. On the occasion of his 48th birthday which is on July 30, let’s take a look at some of the lesser-known facts about this ‘Singh Is King’ actor.
Sonu made his debut in the film industry with a Tamil Flick ‘Kallazhagar’ in 1999 but got his first Bollywood break in 2002 with ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’.

Well, the actor has earned fame not only in Bollywood and Tollywood but also made his name in the Chinese industry as he debuted in the film Xuanzang, 2016.
Not only that, Sonu along with Indian actresses Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur featured in Jackie Chan’s film Kung Fu Yoga in 2017.
He is a versatile actor and has worked in movies of five different languages- Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada and Punjabi.
In July 2016, he started his own production house Shakti Sagar Productions, which is named after his father, Shakti Sagar Sood.
Sonu Sood believes in having a healthy lifestyle and the actor is often seen promoting the same on his social media account. He is a non-alcoholic and non-smoker person and also a pure vegetarian.
