One of the most-awaited action films of this year, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ starring superstar Salman Khan was initially supposed to release on May 22, 2020. However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the remake of the South Korean film ‘The Outlaws’ will now release on May 13, 2021 coinciding with Eid. Apart from Salman, the film also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Megha Akash in key roles.
If you have watched Ranveer Singh starrer 'Simmba', you may remember catching a sneak peek of the fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, ‘Sooryavanshi’ featuring Akshay Kumar as the lead at the conclusion of the film. The actioner was initially slated for a release on March 24, 2020 but is now scheduled to release on April 30, 2021.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, this remake of his eponymous 2019 Telugu film was set to release on 28 August 2020. The sports drama film which stars Shahid Kapoor as a cricketer will now hit the theatres on 5 November 2021 coinciding with Diwali.
An adaptation of the popular American film ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ stars India’s Tom Hanks Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Initially, the Advait Chandan directorial was slated for a Christmas 2020 release but was postponed by a year to Christmas 2021 due to the global pandemic. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
With a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles, this Ayan Mukerji directorial is eagerly awaited by fans. The supernatural fantasy film which was set to hit the theatres on December 4, 2020, will now hit the theatres in December 2021. The film ‘Brahmastra’ marks the first part of a planned trilogy.
