The leopards in the enclosure were show animals and had featured in a Panasonic ad in the past.
A 36-year-old model Jessica Leidolph was attacked by a leopard in Germany while on the set for a photoshoot.
The shocking incident left her with serious injuries and according to a BBC report, she had to be airlifted to the hospital through a helicopter.
The exact nature of her injuries isn’t clear yet. It is only known that she was in an enclosure with two show leopards – Paris and Troja
As per a local news portal Bild, the two animals are owned by a 48-year-old animal trainer Birgit Stache. He had taken in former advertising animals Troja and Paris in his farm who were once on a Panasonic ad.
After the attack, there was a scare in the neighbourhood as a message in a local app stated that the leopards had broken out from the enclosure. However, that wasn’t true as per local authorities’ statement to the news outlet Bild.
The investigation on the freak attack on the young model is still ongoing.
