Saira Banu paid tribute to her husband and veteran late actor Dilip Kumar on his 99th birth anniversary on Saturday, December 11, 2021. She had made a special appearance at Whistling Woods institute where students had created a beautiful mural of the late actor. Megastar Dharmendra and filmmaker Subhash Ghai were also present at the memorial, showering support on Saira.

She had also opened up on how she wanted to spend the day. "I will do the prayers, remember him and I want the day to be very quiet. I want to visit the Juhu garden (Juhu Qabrastan) where he is (buried)," Banu told PTI.
