Bhojpuri superstar Awdhesh Mishra recently turned a year older. However, he was not in a mood to celebrate his birthday. He was apparently unwell three days before his birthday. The actor, who has two pet dogs is very fond of animals, and is very attached to them. It so happened that one of his pet dogs, named Champ, too fell sick. Surprisingly, Awdhesh recovered as soon as Champ contracted illness. And since Champ wasn't in the pink of his health, Awdhesh was upset.

On hearing that Champ fell sick, Awdhesh reportedly left the sets of the film he was shooting for. He reached home to take care of Champ and also give him medical assistance. Champ's illness left Awdhesh extremely sad. Hence he was not in a mood to celebrate his birthday.

However, on being requested by his family, Awdhesh cut his birthday cake. Champ will undergo a surgery today.

The low key birthday celebration was attended by Awdhesh's wife, son, daughter, Champ, Bhushan Kumar (Business Manager of P&B Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd) and Devendra Gupta ( Business Manager of B Films Digital Media).

Awdhesh Mishra has acted in a number of Bhojpuri films and the list includes - Tu Jaan Hau Hamar, Aulad, Nirahua Mail, Ganga Devi, Naagin, Adaalat, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Aurat Khilona Nahin, Sangram, Nirahua Chalal Sasural 2, Mehendi Lagake Rakhna, Sarkar Raj, Mohabbat etc.
