Shaktimaan actor Mukesh Khanna quashes death hoax - His best roles so far!

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna aka Shaktimaan became the latest star to fall prey to death hoax doing the rounds online. The senior actor slammed the gossipmongers and stated on his social media accounts that he is 'perfectly alright'. Earlier, singer Lucky Ali and veteran actress Meenakshi Seshadri's fake death rumours too hit the internet, leaving fans tensed. 

Fortunately, now that the actor is all hale and hearty, so we thought of listing out some of his best-known roles so far:

He played the titular role of Rishi Vishwamitra TV series which was produced and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

This actioner directed by Anil Sharma had an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Naseeruddin Shah, Aditya Pancholi, Javed Jaffrey, Amrish Puri, Mukesh Khanna. It released in 1992. 

This remains Mukesh Khanna's most famous show to date. He became a household name after the stupendous success of this series and children identified him as 'Shaktimaan'. Interestingly, he was also the producer of the show which originally started in 1997 and lasted till 2005. 

He played the role of Gagan Singh in Subhash Ghai's superhit film Saudagar starring Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar in lead roles. 

Mukesh Khanna played Bhishma in BR Chopra's iconic show Mahabharat which ruled the small screens in the late 80s and early 90s.
