Urfi was spotted at Mumbai airport on Monday. During her outing, Urfi opted for a t-shirt which grabbed a lot of eyeballs among the paps as the caption read ‘Not Javed Akhtar's granddaughter.'

For the unversed, last year some people mistook her to be Javed Akhtar's granddaughter considering they share 'Javed' in their names. However, Urfi had clarified that they were not related to each other in any way.

She is famous on social media for her DIY videos. From making a top from stockings to donning a dress made from trash - Urfi has done it all in her posts online.

In an interview with a leading daily, Urfi once opened up about her casting couch experience in the industry and how she dealt with it. She also went on saying that the men of the industry are very powerful.

Urfi first came into the limelight in 2016 when she appeared in the TV show ‘Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania’.

The actress has since then been seen on shows like ‘Meri Durga’, ‘Bepannaah’ among others. She has also appeared on ALTBalaji’s OTT show ‘Puncch Beat’ Season 2.
