Who Is Parvati Nair? Vijay Thalapathy`s GOAT Actress Booked For Allegedly Assaulting Domestic Help - Controversy Explained

Actress Parvati Nair was recently seen in Vijay Thalapathy's GOAT (The Greatest of All Time). The actress along with Ayalaan producer Rajesh and five others, have courted controversy for allegedly assaulting a domestic help. According to a report in Indiaglitz.com, Parvathy Nair had filed a complaint in 2022 claiming that her valuables worth Rs 10 lakh had gone missing from her house. In her complaint, she expressed suspicion about Subash Chandra Bose, her domestic help at that time. Reacting to the development, Subhash has now lodged a complaint accusing the actor and her aides of assaulting him. He claimed that they physically attacked and harassed him. Subhash has approached the court. The police registered the case against Parvati and seven others.

Parvati Venugopal Nair was born into a Malayali family in Abu Dhabi. She is a trained software professional from Manipal Institute of Technology as per Wiki information. The actress got into modelling at the young age of 15.

She worked with the likes of Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar and more recently Vijay Thalapathy. In 2021, Parvati made her Bollywood debut in Kabir Khan's sports biographical drama 83, which was based on India's historic victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup starring Ranveer Singh.

She was announced as the brand ambassador of the Karnataka Bulldozers team during the 2016 Celebrity Cricket League. The actress also attended matches played by Royal Challengers Bangalore during the IPL Season of 2015. In 2016, she was announced as one of the ambassadors of the Nellai Dragons team led by Jayam Ravi.

Peta India chose her as an ambassador for the 'Adopt a stray dog' campaign. Parvati and Ashok Selvan were also the brand ambassadors for the World Junior Squash Championships held in Chennai. She was the brand ambassador of the Abudhabi T 10 league in the years 2019, 2021,2022 and well as 2023 respectively.

She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film 'Poppins'. She was also seen in critically acclaimed films including Story Kathe (2014 ) and Yennai Arindhaal (2015). Her performance in Story Kathe won her the Best Kannada Debut Actress Award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). Also, her role in Yennai Arindhaal won her praise from critics and received a Filmfare nomination.

Parvati Nair recently featured alongside Thalapathy Vijay in The GOAT. The film was released on September 5 and got rave reviews. Apart from Parvati, the film featured Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Jayaram, Mohan, and several others in prominent roles.
