From Ramp To Rank: Meet IAS Officer Who Left Her Miss India Dream To Crack UPSC

Known for her mimicry of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, Taskeen became a social media sensation. A follower who was an IAS aspirant inspired her to pursue a career in the civil services.

 After her father’s retirement and with a limited pension, Taskeen joined Jamia Millia Islamia's free UPSC coaching, where she devoted herself to her studies.

   Despite failing to secure a rank in her first three attempts, Taskeen remained undeterred, committed to achieving her goal of joining the civil services.

   Facing depression and even suicidal thoughts, Taskeen persevered, finding inner strength to push forward in her journey toward becoming an IAS officer.

Her hard work paid off when she achieved an All India Rank (AIR) of 736 in the UPSC 2022 examination, a testament to her resilience and dedication.
