The Jananayak Janata Party (JJP), which initially emerged as a strong regional force in 2019, won 10 seats and 14.80% of the vote.

Internal divisions and defections have significantly weakened JJP's position by 2024, with four MLAs moving to BJP and others seeking Congress tickets.

Once a dominant regional party, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has seen its popularity plummet since the formation of JJP. The 2019 elections saw INLD’s vote share drop to just 2.44%, winning only one seat. Internal family disputes within the Chautala family are blamed for the party's decline.

The Jat community, once the core voter base for both JJP and INLD, has largely shifted its allegiance to Congress, further eroding the strength of these regional parties in the 2024 elections.

In an attempt to stay relevant, INLD has formed an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), while JJP has joined forces with the Azad Samaj Party (ASP). However, BSP’s influence in Haryana has been minimal, with its vote share dropping to 0.16% in 2019.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections saw significant drops in vote shares for both JJP and INLD. JJP’s support base dwindled to 0.87%, while INLD managed only 1.74%. This declining popularity leaves these regional parties struggling to maintain their foothold against Congress and BJP.
