Heavy rain, thunderstorm lashes parts of Delhi-NCR : In Pics

The Delhi National Capital Region witnessed heavy showers bringing some respite from the hot, sultry weather as the mercury dipped. While strong winds brought some relief from the rising humidity. See pics here:

Trees were uprooted in some parts of the national capital due to strong winds. 

Thunderstorm and dark clouds were witnessed in many areas while mild to moderate showers were also reported in some.

The showers brought the mercury down, while strong winds brought some relief from the rising humidity.
