Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday visited the Sharadamba temple in the holy town of Sringeri in Karnataka`s Chikmagalur district, about 250 km west of Bengaluru. The temple is considered the first Hindu monastery set up by Adi Shankarachya.
