After nearly seven months since the nation-wide lockdown to stop the coronavirus, movie theatres are set to reopen, religious gatherings will be allowed and schools will reopen; with restrictions. As per reports, cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes will re-open in some states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana with 50 per cent capacity.
Cinema halls will be reopened today with 50% occupancy. Show timings shall be staggered and digital payment modes will be encouraged.
Only asymptomatic persons will be allowed entry. Thermal screening of individuals will be done before they enter the auditorium.
The screens should be cleaned after every show COVID-19 protocol of the Centre and state government should be strictly adhered to, failing which action will be initiated under the IPC and Disaster Management Act.
Masks are mandatory and a minimum of six feet distance between two individuals in the common area and waiting area in the cinema halls.
Seats which are not to be occupied will to be marked to maintain adequate physical distancing while seating.
Only packaged food and beverages will be allowed. The screens should be cleaned after every show as part of the COVID-19 protocol of the Centre and state government.
