At least 18 people, including six children, have so far been killed in recent rain-related incidents in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh while thousands have been evacuated and forced to stay in shelter homes amid continued heavy rains in the states.
In Maharashtra, as many as nine people, including three children, have died in the latest rain-related incidents, while 95 people have been evacuated from flooded places.
