New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dons a white traditional kurta and churidar along with a bright saffron-colored turban, which stole the show during his address to the nation on the occasion of 75th Independence Day.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the seventh time on the 75th Independence Day, he wore a soothing white traditional kurt paired with churidar along with an elegant blue waistcoat, also commonly referred to as a ‘Modi jacket’.
Last Independence Day PM Modi wore a silk kurta with a tint of yellow with churidar. The Prime Minister paired his attire with a statement-making bright saffron colored turban along with a similar shade of stole, which binded the whole attire together.
The year before that, PM Modi donned plain whilet kurta along with predominantly orange coloured turban with a dash of red, green and yellow whose trail extended till his ankle.
Keeping up with his customary look, on 72nd Independence Day, the prime minister was seen wearing a dual shade turban, which had orange as its base with a dash of scarlet red. He paired it with an elegant all-whilte kurta churidar set and a white stole with embroidered corners.
On his 71st Independence Day address, PM Narendra Modi wore a comfortable light yellow kurta paired with white churidar. Even though that year PM Modi didn’t put up a stole, his bright red and yellow colored stole made a statement with its enchanting golden checked lines.
PM Modi’s attire for the 70th Independence Day was very eye-catching, not just because of its color but because the prime minister donned a tie-dye hues of pink, red, yellow and orange.
In 2015 Independence Day celebrations PM Modi addressed the nation in an elegant all-silk attire paired with a yellow turban with a golden tint with a long trail as he spoke from the iconic Red Fort.
In his first address to the citizens as the Prime Minister of the nation, he was seen wearing light yellow kurta with white churidar pants adorned with a bright orange turban with green ends. That year PM Modi’s turban’s trail even though small was still statement-making.
