PM Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Sharad Pawar visit Ram Vilas Paswan's residence, pay tributes

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived at Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan's residence at 10 Janpath in New Delhi and paid their tributes to the LJP leader, who who passed away on Thursday night.

Among those who paid floral tributes to the late Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) founder were BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, and Giriraj Singh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi consoled Ram Vilas Paswan's wife and son Chirag Paswan.

Paswan's mortal remains would be kept at his Delhi residence till 2 pm, after which it would be flown to Patna for cremation on Saturday. Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will represent the central government at the funeral of Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan, sources said on Friday.
