Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his US visit by meeting five American CEOs and motivated them to invest in India.
He met with CEOs of Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics and Blackstone and motivated them to invest in India.
PM Modi then met US Vice President Kamala Harris and explored opportunities for cooperation between the two nations. He pointed out that India and United States have similar values and geopolitical interests, and called the two countries "natural partners".
Prime Minister Modi then held a bilateral meeting with Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga and strengthened his relations.
PM Modi also met Prime Minister Scott Morrison and took stock of the strong bilateral relations with Australia.
During his landmark tour, Prime Minister Modi also met US President Joe Biden and reviewed the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
The two leaders exchanged views on regional and global issues.
The Prime Minister also participated in the first in-person Quad Leaders' Summit along with US President Biden, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga.
PM Modi concluded his visit with an address at the United Nations General Assembly where he focused on pressing global challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to combat terrorism, climate change and other important issues.
