The responsibility of security of the new building has been given to the SPF. Over 600 SPF personnel will be deployed after the inauguration of the secretariat.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will participate in the inaugural ceremony on April 30 and will assume his chair in his designated chamber at 1.20 pm on the same day.
300 CCTV cameras will be deployed to monitor the movement in and around the secretariat on the inauguration day.
A special command control centre has also been set up for the grand event.
The new secretariat complex is a seven-storey building having a built-up area of 7 lakh square feet.
The cost of the new state-of-the-art secretariat named after Dr BR Ambedkar is nearly Rs 650 crore.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had laid the foundation stone for the new Secretariat on June 27, 2019.
