Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams organises grand 'Garuda Vahana Seva' -- See pics

In consonance with the practice of conducting Garuda Vahana Seva, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) organised the grand Garuda Vahana Seva on Mada streets (four streets surrounding the temple) on Tuesday (April 27, 2021) night.

According to puranic legends, Garuda vahanotsavam is considered divine in 108 countries across the world.

The Acharyas hail Garuda as a Vedic personality and his wings are regarded as symbolic of Vedic glory.

It is popularly held that the blessing of Sri Malayappa on Garuda Vahana is a divine antidote against all sins.
