Uttarakhand: The authorities discovered two more bodies on Friday (February 12) taking the death count to 38, while over 200 still remain missing. The rescue team continues their operations for the sixth day at the tunnel near Tapovan, where more than a dozen fear trapped.
The officials revealed, a separate team was formed with the Rural Works Departmentto speed up the search with the help of locals. Meanwhile, ITBP, NDRF, SDRF and other rescue teams are using heavy machinery to locate the missing. Additionally, the authorities have provided locals with several rounds of air relief, including food grains and medical supplies.
