According to IMD's daily weather bulletin, the state of Maharashtra is very likely to witness heavy to very rainfall during the next 24 hours. "Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over north Madhya Maharashtra on September 16", stated IMD.

Madhya Pradesh is very likely to witness heavy rainfall during the next 2-3 days. Heavy downpour is likely to occur over East and West MP in the next 24 hours while extremely heavy showers will batter the Southwestern part of the state on September 16 and 17. Heavy rains are also likely in Chhhattisgarh on Sept 19.

The IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Gujarat region for the next 2 days and over Saurashtra and Kutch during Sept 17 to Sept 19. Isolated extremely heavy rains are likely in Gujarat on Sept 16 and 17. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall with very heavy downpour at isolated places is likely to occur over Eastern Rajasthan on Sept 16 and 17.
