he India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfalls at a dew places and extremely heavy falls at isolated places in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer on June 17 while heaby rainfall is likely over Bikaner and Jaipur today under the influence of Biparjoy.
IMD has extremely heavy rainfall ovet Assam and Meghalaya on June 17 and June 18. Widespread light to moderate at most places with isolated heaby to very heavy falls are very likely over Northeast India and Sub-Himalyan West Benagl & Skkim during next 5 days, said IMD.
Cyclonic Storm Biparjoy has weakened into a deep depression and it is very likely to weaken further into a depression (remnant) during the next 6 hours.
According to IMD, maximum temperature over Central Indiaand Northwest India is likely to drop by 2-4 degrees in the next 24 hours and the next 2 days respectively.
