Weather Update: IMD Predicts Heavy Rains In Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Severe Heatwave In Bengal, Check Forecast For All States - In Pics

According to IMD's daily weather bulletin, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning is very likely over South India during next 5 days. Kerala and Tamil Nadu are liekly to witness isolated heavy rainfall from June 18 to June 21 while heavy falls will hit South interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema during June 10 to June 21.  

Heatwave to sevre heatwave conditions will continue to prvail in the isolated pockets of Odisha , Vidarbhaduring the next 4 days; Gangtic West Bengal, Jharkhand during next 3 days, Coast Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, East Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during next 2 days; West MP, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu during next 24 hours.

he India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfalls at a dew places and extremely heavy falls at isolated places in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer on June 17 while heaby rainfall is likely over Bikaner and Jaipur today under the influence of Biparjoy.

IMD has extremely heavy rainfall ovet Assam and Meghalaya on June 17 and June 18. Widespread light to moderate at most places with isolated heaby to very heavy falls are very likely over Northeast India and Sub-Himalyan West Benagl & Skkim during next 5 days, said IMD.

Cyclonic Storm Biparjoy has weakened into a deep depression and it is very likely to weaken further into a depression (remnant) during the next 6 hours.

According to IMD, maximum temperature over Central Indiaand Northwest India is likely to drop by 2-4 degrees in the next 24 hours and the next 2 days respectively.
