Weather Update: Showers To Lash Delhi-NCR On THESE Dates, IMD Says Heavy Rain To Continue In Southern India; Check Forecast For Your City

Light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms & lightning very likely over Southern India during the next 5 days. According to IMD, isolated heavy/very heavy rainfall is also likely over Coastal Karnataka from June 23 to June 27th; over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on June 24; Telangana On June 24 and 25. Kerala & Mahe are also likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall from June 25 to June 27.

According to IMD, issolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Uttar Pradesh from June 24 to June 26; over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and East Rajasthan during June 25 -27. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall very likely over Chhattisgarh on 24th June

According to IMD isolated Heavy rainfall is likely over north Madhya Maharashtra from June 25 to June 27. Light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms & lightning very likely over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during June 24 -27, said IMD in its weather bulletin.

Light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand till June 27. Uttarakhand & Himachal Pradesh are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall very from June 24 to June 27.

Fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms & lightning is very likely during the next 5 days over Northeast and adjoining East India. "Isolated heavy rainfall also likely over Arunachal Pradesh and Bihar on 23rd; Assam & Meghalaya on 23rd, 26th & 27th; Nagaland, Manipur & Mizoram during 23rd to 27th; Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on 23rd & 26th; Odisha on 27th and Jharkhand on 25th & 26th June," stated IMD.

IMD has predicted no heatwave conditions over the country during next 5 days and a fall in maximum temperature is likely over most parts of the country. Fall in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C very likely over East India during next 3 days; by 4-6°C over most parts of Northwest India (except West Rajasthan) & Central India and by 2-4°C over West India during next 5 days.
