The Kartarpur Corridor was opened by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on November 9, 2019, days ahead of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Born as Gobind Rai, Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the 10th spiritual Guru of Sikhs. The spiritual master was born in Patna, Bihar. Born to parents Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was the 9th Sikh Guru and Mata Gujri—he was the only son. The teachings and philosophy of Guru Gobind Singh Ji continue to inspire many.
