The festive season of the year is here. Every year, people all around the nation celebrate the month of Sawan with great spectacle and grandeur. It is also known as the Shravan month and is considered extremely fortunate. When the monsoon season begins in India, which is seen as very fortunate and good for agriculture and harvest, Sawan arrives. Lord Shiva is honoured throughout the month of Sawan. During this month, devotees observe a fast while praying to Lord Shiva for his blessings.

Those who are committed to keeping the fast should do so throughout the month honestly and conscientiously.
While keeping a fast, it's important to keep giving the body the nutrients it needs to be healthy. As a result, we need to carry nuts and fruits.
Throughout the day when fasting, we should hydrate the body with fruit juice, water, and buttermilk.
For cooking during the month of Sawan, we should swap out table salt for rock salt. Cumin seeds, black pepper, red chilli, and black peppercorns should all be used as seasonings.
Do not consume alcohol during this whole Sawan month.
We must at all costs avoid eating either of these foods throughout the month of Sawan. Additionally, foods and oils like mustard, sesame, masoor dal, and brinjal should be avoided.
During the month of Sawan, it's totally forbidden to consume meat, eggs, or alcohol.
Juices in packages may have flavour enhancers and additional preservatives; as a result, use of such packaged items is advised.
