The blooming mid-size SUV space witnessed the unveiling of an all-new SUV - Honda Elevate, which will soon be pitted against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the Indian market.
Honda Elevate mid-SUV is finally unveiled, and bookings for it open by next month, while the launch will take place during the festive season.
Around the front, the Honda Elevate gets a rather upright and flat nose. There are some creases on the bonnet, and the design overall is rather subtle. It gets a class-leading wheelbase of 2,650 mm.
Around the rear, it looks rather chic with a connected treatment for the tail lamp design. Although, the bar doesn't glow all across the width. As for dimensions, it is 1,790 mm wide and 4,312 mm long.
Sadly, Honda Elevate gets a small single-pane sunroof, unlike the Hyundai Creta's panoramic roof. However, it gets chunky roof rails and is 1,650 mm tall. It further gets a shark-fin antenna.
Riding on a set of 17-inch machine-finish alloy wheels, the Honda Elevate gets squared-off wheel arches with cladding and a high 220 mm ground clearance.
As of now, Honda Elevate is confirmed to come exclusively with the 1.5L NA petrol motor that belts out 121 PS against 145 Nm. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed MT and CVT.
The black-brown theme feels premium, while the dashboard layout is fresh. The touchscreen infotainment unit is 10.25-inch, while the 7-inch TFT comes from the City itself.
A comfy bench is used on the Honda Elevate, but sitting three abreast could be a squeeze. Furthermore, there's just one charging port.
The Honda Elevate gets a large 458 litres of trunk volume with a parcel tray sitting in place. No, there's no option of a thrid-row.
