In India, the Citroen eC3 has been launched. After many information leaks and spy photos, India's new electric hatchback is now publicly visible. In the Indian market, the car's price has not yet been disclosed. Prior to announcing a price, the French manufacturer will begin accepting reservations for the electric vehicle on January 22. According to the statement, the vehicle will be available to customers in February 2023. It should be mentioned that the company's electric hatchback is its first electric vehicle sold in India, which opens up new opportunities for the automaker there.
The design of the Citroen eC3 electric vehicle's exteriors remain mostly the same as its ICE counterpart and without changes in it's front-end elements like DRLs, headlamps and others.
The electric car has a very similar feature list to its ICE version, as it gets a 10-.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, height adjustable seat and many more. For keeping the occupants safe, the car gets features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags and more.
The design details of the Citroen C3 EV remain mostly the same, except now the charging port of the electric vehicle is now on the front fender.
The 29.2kWh battery pack for the Citroen eC3 is coming from the Chinese company Svolt. However, Citroen plans to localise it in the future. The Citroen EV has a 3.3kW onboard AC charger and CCS2 rapid charging capability.
The Citroen eC3 gets two driving modes, standard and eco, it also has regenerative braking. This powertrain enables the car to go from 0-60 kmph in 6.8 seconds, and the eC3 boasts a top speed of 107 kmph.
The electric vehicle offers sufficient boot space. The space remains mostly unchaged as in the ICE version of the car.
