Design is a strong forte of the BYD Atto 3. It can grab attention without much effort. In the red paint scheme, the SUV made a lot of heads turn towards itself. The light bar on the front is a noticeable element, and the bumper gets fake vents to break visual bulk.
The rear end is alluring too. It dons connected tail lamps, a sharply-raking windscreen, a sporty bumper, and a grey-finished scuff plate. With the use of cuts and creases, there's enough drama on the BYD Atto 3's tail. Dimensions for this SUV stand at 4,455 mm, 1,875 mm, and 1,615 mm, for length, width, and height, respectively.
The alloy wheels on the Atto 3 measure 18 inches in diameter. The design is eye-catching, and it complements aerodynamics. Moreover, they are shod with Atlas Batman tyres, which offered enough grip in the wet as well.
The Atto 3 features serious detailing in the lights. The tail lamps get a lightening-like element, the headlamps are said to be inspired by the dragon's face. On the whole, they look attractive when lit up.
On the inside, the Atto 3 uses a rather quirky design theme. It is full of colours, materials, and textures. Elements like twitter-mounted door handles, aircraft-inspired transmission lever, and dumbbell-like AC vent make the spacious and comfy cabin look sharp.
The instrument cluster on the Atto 3 seems like it comes off a superbike. The cutesy 5-inch display is mounted on the steering column itself. While it does offer plenty of information, it remains in sight all the time, even though the steering wheel gets two-way adjustability.
BYD Atto 3 features a large 12-inch infotainment screen, which can be rotated to use in both portrait and landscape fashion. The unit offers a crisp touch response and accepts voice commands as well.
