The Lamborghini Urus S replaces the Urus in the company's line-up. It is designed to look sharper with a new bumper, which now misses out on the splitter. Although, it can be added as an extra.
Sharpness shows its insanity in a beautiful way. Rear bumper is reprofiled to follow the suit of the nose. Also, the Lamborghini Urus S gets adaptive air suspensions, unlike the coil springs seen on the Urus Performante.
The insides still look the same with new trimmings and many new customisation options available to buyers. The new rear seat entertainment package makes it more tech-laden, nonetheless.
Unlike the Urus Performante, the Urus S gets 3 driving modes - Strada, Sport and Corsa, and 3 off-road modes - Sabbia, Neve and Terra. The Lamborghini Urus Performante, however, only comes with just a Rally mode.
On the bonnet, there are new louvres to intake air to cool down the motor. With these, the bonnet looks sharper, accentuating the Urus S's aggression to new heights.
A 4.0-litre V8 with twin turbochargers sit under the bonnet. It develops 666 PS of peak power, up by 16 PS than the Urus. Torque remains unchanged at 850 Nm, but the 0-100 kmph time has dropped by 0.1 seconds, coming down to 3.5 seconds. Interestingly, the Urus Performante does this exercise in only 3.3 seconds.
The Urus S gets fresh new 22-inch rims on the front and 23s at the rear. They are shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres, and buyers get the option to choose a variety of designs for the rims.
