Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the EQE SUV along with the AMG EQE SUV that sits below the EQS and above the EQC in the company's electric vehicle lineup denoted by EQ series.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV expects a WLTP range of about 342 miles (550 km) from its 90.6-kilowatt-hour battery, though U.S. EPA range isn’t available yet. In India, this range can be above 700 km (ARAI tested).
The EQE SUV feature various levels of regenerative braking, from coasting to one-pedal driving, including an auto regen mode.
Inside, the EQE SUV gets aluminum-inlaid wood, Hyperscreen can be made to span the entire dash and other high-tech gadgets.
Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV will include rear-wheel-drive setup and dual-motor 4Matic all-wheel-drive versions with varying outputs.
The Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV delivers 617 horsepower and gets a Race Start feature, which pushes the electric SUV from 0-100 kmph in about 3.5 seconds.
The EQE AMG gets AMG-adapted air suspension with damping tech borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door, a lowered ride height setting for Sport and Sport+ modes, an active anti-roll bar and standard rear-axle steering.
Inside, the AMG EQE gets nappa-leather steering wheel with sound experience and Dynamic Select mode, Hyperscreen witn AMG-specific graphics, including an AMG performance readout for the center screen.
